Believe it or not, our most requested specialty camp from both boys and girls is a cooking camp! Campers have been searching for a camp that will teach them the basics of making healthy and flavorful snacks as well as how to prepare a feast for the family. Now, they need look no further!

In "The Chef's Kitchen," our culinary specialist gives campers a fantastic hands-on experience that is fun, educational and tasty. Everything from how to safely and effectively use kitchen utensils to following a recipe to perfection is covered. Of course campers will have ample opportunity to consume their creations on a daily basis! (Please note, if a camper enrolled in this program would like a separate lunch as well, the camp will provide one upon request. Please place this request at least one week prior to the start of the camp).

A tremendous advantage with all of our specialty camps is that campers can participate in the many other activities that are offered during the afternoons by joining in with their Junior Discovery group or the Teen Exploration program. 

Campers registered for specialty programs also have the option of taking the morning off from their specialty to join the Junior Discovery or Teen Exploration camps if they would prefer instead to participate in those activities. Again, there is fantastic flexibility with these programs so that your camper returns to you with a wonderful smile and great stories to share.
