Some parents have asked, "Why do I receive the referral refund AFTER the camp season is over?" There are three reasons why we do not immediately discount the price or why we do not mail out the refund sooner:

1. The referred camper(s) decided not to sign up. - This will undoubtedly happen, in which case we would have to chase down funds that have already been discounted.

2. The referring camper has multiple referrals at later times. - If a camper refers another camper in March, another in June, another in August, etc., it is MUCH easier for us to tabulate the referrals at the end of the season when we know who has registered and who has not. It also allows us to not have to write out multiple checks throughout the season.

3. Changing referral plans. - If a camper initially refers a friend under our basic plan but then decides to go in under the Neighborhood plan, it again is much easier for us to tabulate these changes after everyone has signed up and no more changes can be made.

Having said all of that, as always we will accommodate individual situations when necessary. If there is a degree of financial hardship and waiting for the funds is problematic, then we will mail the refund out to you immediately after all of the involved parties have registered. If you require such consideration, please indicate this during the registration process.
